Miracles as Proof
-
How would the young children of Fatima, Portugal possibly know how crucial October (and specifically Oct 13) 1917 would be in terms of Russian politics and the spread of communism? Could they possibly know that the atheist Bolsheviks would target the Church on that very day in Russia?
-
If the miracles were the result of mass hysteria, how was it that individuals from other towns and villages came to see the miracles - some not even knowing that a miracle was going to take place?
-
Not all people saw the exact same miracle which is also miraculous in and of of itself.

It's baffling to think how deaf and blind many of us are to these miracles, apparitions, signs, and wonders. Still others are quick to criticize and condemn without putting the effort into reading or inquiring about them. Still, the skeptics find fault in them but fail to explain their supernatural qualities. It's sad. Still others walk around with knowledge of these miracles and the solid faith they bring, however, they don't share it with others. We need not feel embarrassed, these miracles and apparitions and signs were given to increase our faith.
Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophesies contained in the Old Testament that were written centuries before His birth. Mathematician Peter Stoner calculated the statistical probability of one person fulfilling just 8 of the prophesies to be: 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000.
