WHEN SOMEONE IS DYING
CALL A CATHOLIC PRIEST (even if the person is dead but still warm). BUT IF NO PRIEST IS AVAILABLE:
FIRST ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE EVER BEEN BAPTISED (IF THEY SAY NO OR THEY ARE UNSURE - CLICK HERE)
THE FOUR THINGS NEEDED ARE (LAST RITES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING):
1. Confession. Confess your sins to the priest. This needs to be done because the person needs to be in a State of Grace when receiving Communion and to be in a State of Grace for the Annointing. If the person is unconscious or incapable of speaking or understanding, the priest can Annoint them and bring them into the State of Grace. If they are conscious and choose not to confess, then they can't receive Communion or be Annointed.
2. Viaticum - last reception of Communion.
3. The actual Annointing of the person.
4. The Apostolic Pardon. This allows the person to bypass Purgatory and go straight to Heaven.

A dying person should make an Act of Contrition (tell God you are sorry for all your sins and ask for forgiveness)
SAINT FAUSTINA TELLS US BEST HOW TO INTERCEDE FOR SOMEONE DYING: She once heard the WORDS OF GOD THE FATHER "At the hour of their death, I defend as MY own glory, every soul that will say this Chaplet (Divine Mercy Chaplet) or when others say it for a dying person, the pardon is the same when this Chaplet is said by the bedside of a dying person. My Anger is placated, unfathomable mercy envelops the soul, and the very depths of MY tender mercy are moved for the sake of the sorrow Passion of MY SON" (Diary, 811)
Jesus tells the mystics, and St. Faustina that Jesus comes to the soul 3 times, and if a soul shows even a flicker of good will, the mercy of GOD achieves the rest.
